About
Dr. Harpreet Mangat is Director of Administration of ISSP. She has held various leadership positions on campus at the Computational Research for Equity in Legal Systems (CRELS), the Berkeley Interdisciplinary Migration Initiative (BIMI), and the Goldman School of Public Policy. She has also worked at the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE) and the Institute for the Study of Societal Issues (ISSI). She was also a Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Berkeley. Prior to coming to the United States, she served as a professor in the Department of Political Science at Guru Nanak Dev University in Amritsar, Punjab. In India, she conducted research on the Indo-Pakistan border, diaspora nationalism and gender.
