About
Leanne graduated from UC Berkeley in 2012, receiving a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies with a Minor in Spanish. Within Peace and Conflict Studies, Leanne focused on Conflict Resolution, mediation and negotiation. Leanne studied abroad in Costa Rica where she developed a passion for Latin American food, culture and language. Along with Costa Rica, Leanne has lived and traveled in Great Britain and Western Europe, where she explored life as a Brit.
Leanne joined the IAS team in summer 2011 as a work study student and peer advisor. Since then, she has moved to assisting the office with administrative duties, special events, human resources work with Graduate Student Instructors and undergraduate advising. Outside of IAS, Leanne enjoys discovering and cooking new recipes, practicing yoga, camping along the West Coast and playing soccer with her Saturday soccer league.
